27 January, 2020 / Read time: 1 minute
This video presents the results of one of the most important observations published in 2019 with ALMA. It is about the binary star BHB2007 11, located in the constellation Ophiuchus.
The stunning image of the young system and artistic renderings show how the stars and surrounding gas behave gravitationally.
The data collected has allowed the scientific community to understand the characteristics of the early stages of binary star formation, as well as their interactions.
