Hole in One: Seeing a Black Hole in M87

This video presents one of the key astronomical discoveries published in 2019: the first-ever image of a black hole, in this case the one at the center of the galaxy M87.

The historic feat was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT), in which ALMA played a key role thanks to its high resolution and sensitivity.
