Tetsuo Hasegawa, from NAOJ talks about the HL Tauri image and the visual acuity record

ALMA has imaged the dust disk surrounding the young star HL Tauri with the highest resolution ever, equivalent to Visual Acuity 2000.

Tetsuo Hasegawa, director of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan's Chile Observatory, who has been involved in the construction of ALMA for many years, talks about his impressions when he saw this image and his expectations for the future.
