ALMA Sounds at Sónar+D · Barcelona
17 June, 2016 / Read time: 1 minute
ALMA Sounds was presented at Barcelona´s Sónar+D Festival of Music, Creativity and Technology to a crowd of 45 thousand people.
What do science and art have in common? Is it possible for both methods of interpreting the world to join together in a common language?
These questions were discussed by a panel that brought together scientists and artists from ALMA Sounds and ARTS@CERN. Furthermore, a MIDI controller and an interactive installation allowed hundreds of artists to become inspired to create new works.
Brian Eno, Richie Hawkins, the Conductor Corvus duo, and the mayor of Barcelona Ada Colau all visited the project’s stand.
