Transporters

The transporter's mission is to transport antennas. It weighs 100 tons, has 28 wheels and four front, rear, 360 degree and crank steering modes, its transport capacity is 130 tons, and its loaded average speed is 12 km/h and 20 km/h when unloaded on a horizontal plane. The average transfer distance from the OSF to the AOS is around 26 km and its average time is 5 hours. In this photo: transporters move towards Chajnantor.
