A detailed view of the ionized gas in the nearest region of massive star formation the Carina Nebula

A 12-square degree image of the 1-3 GHz radio continuum emission toward the Carina Nebula has provided an unprecedented, high-resolution view of the spectacular and complex structures in the region, including shells, filaments, and ionization fronts.
