16 May, 2018 / Read time: 1 minute
This video shows recent ALMA imaging of the galaxy MACS 1149-JD1, 13.2 billion light-years away. The video sequence starts with a NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope view of the distant galaxy cluster MACS 1149, then slowly zooms up in the corner where lies the galaxy MACS 1149-JD1, one of the most distant galaxies ever known.
